Welcome to the Wilson Elementary School District! What makes Wilson Elementary School District different is the students, teachers and community. We have great students learning and striving to become contributing members of our community. Our teachers love to teach and are always learning how to improve their teaching skills. Our community is close knit and continues to support Wilson in every way possible. The schools have curriculum that is rich, exciting and meaningful to students.

Our goal is to give every Wilson student the opportunity to attend college. We provide 1:1 technology devices and rigorous classes to prepare for success in college and beyond. Our AVID program has been instrumental in creating a culture of college readiness and high expectations. Currently, fifty to sixty percent of Wilson students attend college!   The Wilson Elementary School is a National AVID Demonstrative School and continues to strive for excellence. This year AVID will be expanded to the Primary School. It is never too young to start them on the path to college success!

The Wilson Elementary School District advocates for parent involvement. Our parent/teacher conferences boast a 94% attendance rate and community events are very well attended. Also, we have the Wilson Community Center, a valuable resource for parents and the overall community. Classes for parents range in topics from parenting, finance, to Zumba and GED classes. You are more than welcome to visit the Wilson Community Center!

Finally, as Superintendent, I thank the community for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful School District and to serve your students!
